This was my third year attending this festival, and I must say that every year it gets better.
Not only does it grow in terms of attendees, but the quality of the classes and teachers keeps rising too. We enjoyed fantastic instructors, fun lessons, and clearly defined levels.
The bands were a wonderful surprise — great sound, varied music, and an amazing vibe. Even though at times it felt like there were so many people I’d step into the other room to relax, the truth is… nope, we kept dancing without stopping there too! There were fun open tasters where lots of people tried things out for the first time and had a blast.
I also have to highlight the bar staff — even though the queues looked long at moments, they were fast, friendly, and cheerful. Don’t worry about waiting a few minutes, they work efficiently and with a smile.
The small details were everywhere: bathrooms stocked with glitter and colorful stickers so we could keep shining all night. Coat racks were perfectly placed close to the dance floor — super convenient this year.
And the after-party? Absolutely epic! Lights, color, pure joy — the organizers truly gave it their all. I won’t spoil the surprises for you, because you’ll want to live them yourself in 2026… but let’s just say there were confetti, giant balloons floating over the crowd, fun signs referencing magical festival moments, and we even carried someone on our shoulders… but I’ll leave the rest for you to discover.
For a “small city,” it certainly hosts one of the most talked-about festivals in the country. Add pinxos and amazing local food culture — you’ll get why it’s such a special place.
If you’re thinking about a fun getaway, make sure to get your tickets early and plan ahead — you don’t want to be late to the party. “Don’t let the bull catch you!”
