February 7–9, 2025 — Palazzo Brancaccio, Rome

The Swing in Roma Festival 2025 illuminated the grandeur of Palazzo Brancaccio, one of Rome’s most historic and luxurious venues. For three unforgettable days, dancers from across the world gathered to celebrate the spirit of the swing era — blending vintage jazz energy with the timeless beauty of Italian architecture.

🏛️ The Venue: Palazzo Brancaccio

A 19th-century masterpiece nestled in the heart of Rome, Palazzo Brancaccio became the festival’s dreamlike stage. Its marble staircases, golden chandeliers, and frescoed ceilings reflected every rhythm and laugh shared on the parquet floor.

Each dance step echoed through its halls — a perfect harmony between historic elegance and modern joy.

  • Luca Filastro & His Band

  • The Jeepers

Alongside DJs Bunny Donowitz, The Gentleman Thief, and Ale G, the palace vibrated with jam circles, spontaneous solos, and unforgettable performances from both pros and social dancers.

The Big Apple Routine on Saturday night became the festival’s emotional peak — hundreds of dancers moving in unison beneath glittering chandeliers, their joy echoing through the ballroom.

💃 Workshops and Competitions

Across three days, the festival offered multi-level workshops in Lindy Hop, Authentic Jazz, and partnered swing styles.

Each session balanced precision, creativity, and humor, encouraging dancers to explore rhythm, improvisation, and connection.

The Mix & Match competition stood out for its spontaneity — dancers paired randomly expressed their style before an excited crowd, while judges observed from the grand staircase overlooking the ballroom.

🌍 An International Swing Community

Participants from more than twenty countries transformed the event into a true meeting point of cultures and friendships.

Between classes and parties, dancers explored Rome’s charm — morning coffees in Monti, midnight gelatos after parties, and countless shared laughs.

Swing in Roma cultivated an atmosphere of inclusion where newcomers and champions shared the same floor, and every jam circle welcomed all levels alike.

❤️ Closing Night and Legacy

The Sunday farewell dance closed the weekend with heartfelt energy. Teachers and attendees joined one last time, embracing and promising to meet again for Swing in Roma 2026.

This edition reaffirmed the festival’s place among Europe’s most elegant and heartfelt swing gatherings — a space where the past and present of swing culture blended seamlessly.

“Three days of swing, one heartbeat shared among hundreds.”

A festival of grace, laughter, and rhythm that turned Rome into the world’s swing capital for one dazzling February weekend.
