SwouZy Blues is a Swing Dance Fusion Social Event intended to diversify and expand the music to which we dance and diversify our styles. The event features instructional dance classes, social dancing, live music, dance masters being students together, and general camaraderie.

We SwouZy Three Times per year: MLK Day Weekend, Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend

The name comes from the four foundational music genres for the event: Swing (Sw), Soul (ou), Zydeco (Zy), and, of course, Blues!

Crafted to support artistic expression and community building. We feature many voices, but also listen enthusiastically. We share what's in our wheelhouse but also experiment outside our comfort zone. We celebrate each other with a blow out Juke Joint style party that leaves us spent but craving more. Good thing the next day is a holiday!
