Classes & instructors
The 2026 teaching team lists Andrea Gordon, Laurel Ryan, Hannah Lane, Tim Christopher, Edric Yu and Imani Muya. Weekend workshops and a separate Saturday beginner track are offered; consult the official level descriptions before registering.
Music
Mint Julep Jazz Band plays Friday, followed by Keenan McKenzie and the Riffers on Saturday. DJs include Omar Myers and Dave Barry. The event also offers social dancing and competitions.
Venues
The main dance venue is Carrboro Century Center, 100 N Greensboro Street. Classes also use The ArtsCenter, 400 Roberson Street, and Carrboro Elementary School Gymnasium, 400 Shelton Street, for Saturday’s beginner track. Social meetups are listed at Haw River Tap & Table, 300 E Main Street C.
